About Karmafolk
Kind things
for kind folk
A home for artists and makers from around the world, creating beautiful, high quality, ethical things that bring a little more balance to everyday life.
Karma
noun. what goes around
What you put out into the world finds its way back. Kindness, care, a well-made thing passed on.
Folk
noun. people, and their craft
The makers and the traditions they carry, and you, the ones who use and love what they make.
Good things, made with care, for good people. That's Karmafolk.
Our story
Made by makers, all over the world
Karmafolk brings together artists and makers from around the world who create beautiful, high quality things in a good way. Weavers, potters, designers, tea growers and clever inventors, each with their own craft and their own story.
Beautiful things, made well and made fairly, to bring a little more balance into everyday life.
We look for pieces that are made ethically, with care for the people who make them and the places they come from. Some are shaped by hand using traditions that go back generations, some are made by clever machines in small workshops. Every one is chosen because it's lovely to use, built to last and helps keep life in balance: work and rest, light and dark, give and take.
What we're about
Our good karma
Four promises we keep in mind with everything we stock and every order we send.
Chosen, not churned
We'd rather stock a few things we love than a thousand we don't.
Natural where it counts
Cotton, linen, clay, wood and paper, wherever they do the job best.
Made to last
Good things get better with use. We look for pieces that age well.
Honest, always
Fair prices, real reviews and easy returns. The way we'd want to be treated.
Unroll it, wear it, brew it, love it, pass it on.
