Each mat is hand-woven in Rajasthan from thick, naturally dyed cotton. The yin-yang is woven into the cloth itself rather than printed on top, so it softens with use instead of wearing off.
Light and dark meet in a single curve, the same way effort meets rest in a good practice. Small variations in the weave are part of being handmade, so no two are quite the same.

Shake it out after use. Spot clean or hand wash in cold water and dry flat out of direct sun so the colour stays soft.
Cotton mats are the traditional choice for slower practices like yin, hatha and meditation. They're breathable, absorb sweat and feel warm underfoot. For very sweaty or fast flows, some people lay one over a rubber mat for extra grip.
It grips best on carpet, grass or timber. On polished floors, a thin rug grip underneath keeps it steady.

We recommend hand washing in cold water to keep the weave and dye at their best. Dry it flat in the shade.
